PermaTherm Pipe Insulation Systems are suitable for a broad range of applications. PermaTherm's 407 Product system is suitable for any chilled service piping application. This includes mechanical rooms where mold and mildew can be problematic for other insulation types, as well as return air plenums where flame spread and smoke compliance is mandated. 

PermaTherm’s 427 line is suitable for refrigerant and cryogenic applications. Where extreme low temperature require maximum performance. Roof-top pipe runs for ammonia refrigeration lines or engine room insulation for ammonia vessels in cold storage facilities are ideal applications for 427.

Both systems utilize permatherm’s proprietary Expanded Polystyrene Cores. When combined with our own Vapor Barriers, Sealants, and finishing equipment the end resulted is the best performing insulation system for cold service on the market.
