PermaTherm nominal 1 lb/ft3 (PermaTherm brand 407) EPS pipe and vessel insulation provides superior performance for chilled water pipe service and nearly any other application where failure free, mold resistant, efficiently priced low temperature pipe insulation is required. Industrial or Commercial systems operating in the 32F – 167F will perform better and longer when insulated with the Permatherm 407 system.

Cold Service/Cryogenic Applications
PermaTherm nominal 2 lb/ft3 (PermaTherm brand 427) EPS is the core material for PermaTherm’s COLD and CRYOGENIC service insulation system such as ammonia refrigeration and liquid natural gas applications. Cold service and cryogenic lines require the maximum in performance. Industrial or commercial firms with cold service refrigeration or cryogenic temperature piping and equipment need systems that they can depend on. Permatherm 427 is “the system” for pipe and vessel service systems operating in the -310F to 32F.

PermaTherm fabricates 407 EPS and 427 EPS core material for chilled, cold, and cryogenic pipe, tank, vessels, and other mechanical equipment. PermaTherm's thermal insulation components are fabricated from large cross sections of foam in the PermaTherm factory. Fewer joints improve thermal resistance and lead to considerable labor savings when compared to in-field fabrication. The elliptical head segments are precision cut at the factory to fit flawlessly in the field.
